Personalized 1 on 1 Coaching

*Serving Youth & Adults*

We take the client through the entire job search process in a strategic manner customized to meet the individual's needs. Over the coaching sessions the client will (based on client needs):

• Assess core values and skills to identify desired career path
• Craft a professional cover letter, resume, thank you notes & determine appropriate references
• Determine which opportunities should be targeted and how a shadowing opportunity would be beneficial
• Develop a Career Portfolio
• Develop the critical elevator pitch and a personal branding campaign
• Enhance communications skills both written and verbal
• Establish a professional online presence and utilize the social media channels such as LinkedIn
• Learn to develop an extensive network of contacts and how to mine that network to uncover opportunities
• Negotiate offers
• Practice interviewing skills through mock sessions, phone & (optional filmed)
• Strategies to conduct effective informational interviews (questions provided) and company research
• Resources Provided (Links, referrals)

Custom packaging can be designed for each client. The package can include: a business lunch with their coach, practice phone interview, and an image consulting session. In this challenging economy, the details are important and your career coach will work to ensure you are exceptionally prepared for the entire process.

GROUP Career Coaching

Our career coaching groups have helped many individuals’ progress throughout their lives both professionally and personally. Our group program follows the same strategies used in individual sessions but in a small group setting. Our groups will take you from not knowing what to do next to moving forward on a career path that you deem a best-fit through effective goal-setting.

Group Size Avg. 5 – 10

Sample format (Virtual)

• The group meets two times per month by phone for three months for a total of 6 sessions.
• Content is delivered by phone in short lectures, using PowerPoint, handouts, videos, and live coaching demonstrations.
• Homework exercises are always given for you to complete between calls to maximize your success outcomes.
• All calls will be 1.5 hours long and will take place on a week night from 6:30pm – 8pm.
• All calls will be recorded and made available for anyone that cannot attend the live call.
• An online network/ discussion forum will be created to support the group and gives participants a place to stay connected in between the group coaching calls.

Sample format (Face to Face)

• The group meets two times per month for three months for a total of 6 sessions. Locations: TBD  
• Content is delivered in short lectures, using PowerPoint, handouts, & group exercises.
• Homework exercises are always given for you to complete between sessions to maximize your success outcomes.
• All classes will be 1.5 hours and will take place on a week night from 6:30pm – 8pm.
• Some classes may be video recorded and made available for anyone that cannot attend class. (Facilitator will be able to provide a make-up phone session.)  
• An online network/ discussion forum will be created to support the group and gives participants a place to stay connected in between the group coaching meetings.

HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE STUDENTS:
(Internship, Volunteer & College Major Coaching)

The YCC Inc. provides college students with personalize coaching for their internship or job search. Internships are the leading source for entry-level candidates with U.S companies as often successful interns can receive an offer for full-time employment after graduation. We advise that college students have more than one internship over the course of their college experience in order to enhance their skills set, explore career options, increase their network and add to their resume.

A Jump Start Package can be created for any student. Sessions provide personal coaching 3 sixty-minute sessions which will include:

• Career Explorations
• Skills Assessment
• Resume & Cover Letter Reviews
• Mock Interviews
• Elevator Pitch
• Resource (Links, Referrals)
• Learn how to network (who, what, when, where & how)
• Evaluate major and course selections with regards to Career Development

Professionals looking to return to school 
TheYCC Inc. provides professionals with personalized coaching for those looking to return to school or to pursue an advance degree. Applying to graduate school can be very different than undergraduate programs as standardize tests are given and the admissions process can be a bit more rigorous. We will discuss your personal statement, essay questions, resume and school selection.
