Recruitment Specialist for the Miss Black Massachusetts USA Organization
Summary:
The Miss Black Massachusetts USA Organization provides an opportunity for women of African American descent to showcase their talents, intellect, creativity and inner/outer beauty. The competition and scholarships help overcome barriers to achievement, so that dynamic African American women across the country can rekindle and advance their dreams of academic and professional excellence. As domestic programs that support higher education continue to experience greater budget cutbacks, we want to ensure that these achievers have the resources they need to fulfill their respective destinies.
Responsibilities:
• Promote The Miss Black Massachusetts USA Organization in your surrounding area
• Conduct cold calls and walk-ins, schedule in person meetings, and sign up recruits
• Lead potential recruits to Miss Black Massachusetts USA website
• Ability to work responsibly with minimal supervision
• Be the local market expert: gather feedback, and provide recommendations for improvements to management
• Assist with local marketing efforts
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related area.
Or High School Diploma with 2years+ of Marketing/ Sales experience
• Pageant industry experience and/or experience working from home is a plus
• Familiarity with a variety of recruitment concepts, practices and procedures.
• A friendly, likable demeanor
• A desire to sign up women of color: you thrive and excel at signing new recruits

We are seeking friendly, energetic people who have a passion for fashion and can drive sales. Must be able to provide excellent customer service. Previous experience in the retail industry is preferred. Must be 18+. Must have obtained high school diploma or better.
