The YCC Inc. provides workshop covering all aspects of Professional Development & Leadership.

The YCC Inc. is able to hold, 60 min, 90 min to 2 hour workshops, conduct half-day or full-day workshops, upon request.

The YCC Inc. provides workshops for: middle school, high school, college age and industry professionals.



The objective of our Career & Professional Development Workshops is to equip attendees with the skills and resources necessary to determine and achieve career goals while becoming effective leaders. The on-site workshops will provide awareness of the possible opportunities through the discussion of: trends, resources and statistics.

Workshops can be delivered on almost any topic, per request. However,it is at the request of the CEO of The Youth Career Coach Inc. that you ensure your students have been give the opportunity to:

• Create a Resume and learn how to write a Cover Letter
• Develop and practice the Elevator Pitch and communication skills
• Discuss where to find opportunities and how to complete a job application (online & in person)
• Discuss & practice interviewing and presentation skills for in-person and phone interviews
• Discuss social media and how to develop a personal brand (LinkedIn, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter)
• Learn strategies for developing a broad network of contacts (family, friends) and how to use this network to uncover opportunities, conduct company research and land informational interviews

Workshop Program Choices

• Basic Training Workshop: 60 or 90 minute interactive presentation – designed to provide a basic understanding of the key workshop career subjects.
  Minimum/Maximum Group Size: This workshop can be done with a varied size group.

• Half-Day Training Workshop: 4 hour interactive workshop – designed to provide an intermediate understanding of the key workshop career subjects, plus a focus on developing a next steps/action plan.
  Minimum/Maximum Group Size: 20-50 (preferred)

• All-Day Training Workshop: 7 hour interactive workshop – designed to provide an advanced understanding of the key workshop career subjects, plus a focus on developing a next steps/action plan.
  Minimum/Maximum Group Size: 20-50 (preferred)

Depending on the audience, we recommend including a panel discussion with 4-6 industry representatives who can talk first-hand about the job/career opportunities in their industries and/or professions. We can help the sponsoring organization identify potential panelists, but it is typically up to the sponsoring organization to invite and secure the participation of the panelists, and then we coordinate with the panelists to determine their individual questions or topics of discussion. Such a panel can range from 1-2 hours in length. We also typically moderate the panel discussions; although this is not a requirement.

An estimate of the cost of the training workshop (hours, half-day or full-day) can be provided (includes if applicable: fees, materials, food, transportation).

For specific details regarding Half-Day workshops, All-day workshops inside the state of Massachusetts, please email us for more information and to discuss what can be tailored to your budget.


OUT OF MA STATE CLIENTS:
Fee packages include an estimate of the cost of the training workshop (hours, half-day or full-day) and requires round trip travel expenses for the trainer, lodging & food and is based on a minimum of 10 participants (even if the workshop is actually done for fewer than 10 participants).
